Empire Quests are global objectives, which reward the first player to fulfill the condition. Once taken, an Empire quest cannot be earned by another faction, regardless of eventual survival of the first to take it.
Some of the rewards, however, can be transferred over, like those of Eternal City and Imperial Residence
Master Smith[]
- Condition:
- Be the first to build an Arcane Item Forge
- Reward:
- Your Arcane Item Forge generates an additional +5
- This reward can be captured along with the city, except if it gets migrated or purged to another race.
- Receive a powerful magic item
- Item is spawned in the city where the Item Forge is build
- Item strength varies; from Strong to Mythical have been seen
- Like all Items, this reward can be captured
Imperial Residence[]
- Condition:
- Be the first to build an Grand Palace or a Palace of the Perished
- Reward:
Eternal City[]
- Condition:
- Be the first to own a Metropolis
- Reward:
Heptatopia[]
- Condition:
- Be the first to acquire 7 Cities
- Reward:
- + 100 Empire Happiness
- The reward will last the entire game
- Living and undead cities and Dwelllings under the control of a Necromancer player will receive +5% Gold, Mana, Knowledge and Production income instead
All Knowing[]
- Condition:
- Be the first to research all skills available to you
- Reward:
- Receive 2 new Specializations chosen at random
- Specialization requirement is ignored. So can get a Master specialization without having the Adept level.
- Specialization prohibitions are ignored. So you can get a Creation specialization while playing the Necromancer. Or you can get a Shadowborn while having a Torchbearer.
- Specialization alignments are respected. Rules are following:
- Creation and Torchbearer are good. You can not get them by default.
- Destruction and Shadowborn are evil. You can not get them by default.
- Grey guard are neutral. You can not get them by default.
- All other specializations are unspecified. You always can get any unspecified specialization regardless of your other specializations.
- If you have a neutral specialization you can not get any good and evil specializations. But you can get a neutral specializations. So you can get the Grey guard master only if you already have the Grey guard adept.
- If you do not have any neutral specializations and have a good specialization you get other good specializations. So if you have the Creation adept you can get the Torchbearer adept.
- If you do not have any neutral specializations and have an evil specialization you can get other evil specializations.
- If you do not have any neutral specializations and have both good and evil specializations you can get another good and evil specializations simultaneously. So if you have both Creation adept and Shadowborn adept you can get the Destruction adept and the Torchbearer adept.
Sage[]
- Condition:
- Be the first to research a Tier 6 Skill
- Can be Spell, Empire Upgrade or unit tech; everything counts
- Reward:
- Receive 2 Secret Spells at random
Prime Evil[]
- Condition:
- Be the first to get Pure Evil alignment
- Reward:
- Receive a group of units that are Dedicated to Evil
- Possibilities:
Prime Good[]
- Condition:
- Be the first to get Pure Good alignment
- Reward:
- Receive a group of units that are Dedicated to Good
- Possibilities:
Multiculture[]
- Condition:
- Be the first to have cities of 5 different races
- Reward:
- Receive 5 racial Support units from the acquired races.
Monoculture[]
- Condition:
- Be the first to 8 cities of the same race
- Reward:
- Receive a group of 3 units of this race
- Typically these are Tier 2 or 3 units.
- Receive a group of 3 units of this race
Centurion[]
- Condition:
- Be the first to have 100 units
- Reward:
- All units level up instantly
- Includes Heroes
- Does NOT include heroes already at their level cap
Paragon[]
- Condition:
- Be the first to build or summon a Tier 4 Unit
- Evolving and Quest rewards don't count
- Reward:
- The unit receives the Paragon Ability
- This gives the unit Resurgence, +10 , +1 and +1
