The Shadowborn are dedicated to the path of evil. Words and diplomacy are meaningless to them, only action matters. The Shadowborn seek to reclaim the powerful magic of the Wizard Kings to corrupt their soldiers and create armies of terrifying power.

Type: Empire Upgrade Subtype: Resource Management

This sums up with other Production cost reducing factors like Goblin's inherent -10% or Warlord's Training Regimen.png Training Regimen -20% instead of a multiplication of these factors. Seed of Distrust.png No player can advance their diplomatic state with the target independent city or dwelling. The target city or dwelling will not offer any quests, while all active quests are cancelled and instantly fail.

Type: Combat Spell Target: Hostile Unit Casting Points Cost: 8 Casting Points
Black Lightning.png Calls down black lightning on target unit. The lightning has a chance to inflict Broken Spirit.png Spirit Breaking and deals 5 Spirit Damage Spirit and 5 Shock Shock damage.
Name: Gift of Nekron Spec. (Tier) Shadowborn Adept (III) Research: 220 Knowledge
Type: Combat Spell Target: Battlefield Casting Points Cost: 20 Casting Points
Gift of Nekron.png Whenever an enemy unit is killed, the killer is healed for 15 Hit Points Health. Undead.png Undead units can be healed by this ability, but Machine.png Machines cannot. The type of unit killed has no effect on this ability.
